This is my most favorite time of year! The magic is almost palpable! Everyone is buzzing with Christmas cheer and we have the most incredible reason to be joy filled! Love incarnate came to be with us, to rescue us, and save us to be loved by Him forever! Jesus, the true reason for the season, gives us incredible hope that our hearts cry out rejoicing because of His goodness and grace!
I can’t help but want to celebrate every single day! This month we will take a hiatus on our regular learning schedule to create and celebrate a little bit of Christmas cheer every day counting down to Christmas day. I created a simple printable for you to print, cut out, and make links with as you countdown. To make it a little more fun you could print it out on scrapbook paper. 🙂 The printable includes a full supply list for everything we will do. I’ll post any prep you need to do the afternoon before the activity but some activities require no prep.
For example, today is Day 24- Sing a Christmas song. For this activity you don’t need to prep anything. You could teach your littles a new song, sing along to a song on iTunes, or sing an old favorite. To make things more fun consider creating a video of your little singing the song to send to a loved one or maybe even FaceTime a friend/family member to sing to them- consider it caroling in the 21st century! 🙂
These aren’t extravagant activities and they require little prep. My heart is to encourage you with ways to creatively enjoy the most wonderful time of the year! Would you join us? Click the button below to get your {FREE} printable, Countdown to Christmas and full supply list!

December 2, 2016 at 12:58 pmI love this! I’m home-schooling my 4 year old this year and I was looking for something fun and age appropriate to do for Advent. I just stumbled upon this and I’m so excited! I have a 2 year old and and a 1 year old so I needed simple things that don’t require a ton of prep…or money. This is great! And my favorite "Everyone is buzzing with Christmas cheer and we have the most incredible reason to be joy filled! Love incarnate came to be with us, to rescue us, and save us to be loved by Him forever!" Amen! Thanks so much for sharing!
