Intentional time together- it’s something I’m pretty passionate about. It’s no secret that my love language is quality time and it thrills my soul that I get to spend my days with my little loves. Basically, my job is quality time, right?! 🙂 My little girls and I make precious memories together around the table as we adventure through preschool. Rutledge, our baby, gets all the quality time he wants as he spends a fair share of the day in my arms- I do NOT hate it. 🙂 However, there are days that pass and I wonder, “was I intentional about my relationship with ____?”
To inspire us all to be a bit more intentional I created the Play & Learn calendar. Little activities that take five minutes or less but carry an impact that lasts much longer. There’s no prep, nothing to shop for, or stress. Print the calendar and place it somewhere prominent- a refrigerator or door. Glance at the activity for the day and jump on it! There’s no prize for completing every single day and no shame in doing only the days that suit your family most.
The calendar is perfect for including those little loves who aren’t quite ready for a preschool program but you want to start them on the preschool track. Activities build skills in a variety of areas- literacy, math, motor skills, speech, problem solving, and more!
