We are learning numbers to ten and having fun while doing it! As a companion to the BIG Bugs Learn + PLAY calendar I created a new set of number activities! We’ll practice letter formation, number order, one to one correspondence, tracing, and creativity!
Trace your way to ten with creepy crawly spiders. These colorful number cards are a perfect way to practice letter formation. The large format and engaging colors are great for preschoolers gearing up for Kindergarten!
An extra large set of counting clip cards make it fun to practice and play! Don’t have clothes pins? Laminate the cards and use dry erase markers to circle the correct number.
This activity is perfect for the puzzle loving little in your family. Assemble the pieces by putting the numbers in order and discover a buggy scene!
Mini Books are a great way to give your littles ownership of their learning! When each of the coloring pages are completed and assembled your little will have his/her very own book of numbers! One idea is to give your child one page a day. Then after day ten assemble the pages into a book and surprise your little with the fun!
Learning the numerals is one thing but learning the number words is a whole other skill we want to target too! For those little ones ready for kindergarten these tracing cards are perfect practice both skills (and counting too!) I laminated ours two sided to save space and lamination. We hook them on to a binder ring and toss them in a bag for times like waiting at a restaurant or doctor office. Skills on the go!
If you’re looking for buggy fun in areas beyond numbers be sure to check out the BIG Bugs Learn + PLAY calendar.
