Start with coloring and then cut out the candies. This will provide forgiveness when your little goes out of the lines. After your little is satisfied with his/her coloring you can cut out each of the candies. OR if you’re ready to practice scissor skills with your little invite him/her to cut out the candies.
Fold the top of the bag down to create a “roof” for your paperbag house. Then glue all of the candy decorations to the paper bag. After the bag is completely decorated open it up and stuff it with several plastic grocery shopping bags. Fold the “roof” flap back over and add a subtle staple on both sides.
These sweet little bags are simple to make. Do a handful of them and create your very own gingerbread village. Make a post office or a library- the ideas are endless. Let your little learn and play the day away!
