It’s my heart to encourage parents. Raising little people is no small task. Some days feel full, some feel long, but no matter what each day is a gift. I want to help you live fully and enjoy loving these little years. One way to practically enjoy our babies is to invest in their learning. I spent 6 years teaching early elementary grades (Kindergarten through 4th) including time as a reading and math interventionist. I’ve been a teacher at heart from as long as I can remember. It’s the way Jesus created me. However, most importantly I am married to my sweetheart husband and am mama to three precious babies ages 5 and under. Our oldest is 9 and ready to jump right into fourth grade! We also have a sweet, bright eyed 7 year old and an ever busy, always building 6 year old. This will be my first year teaching all three at home and coordinating therapy and medical care for my youngest. It will be a challenge, for sure, but it’s one I’m excited for and I know the Lord will equip me every step of the way.
After our sweet middle little, Sadie was born I began work on developing engaging literacy based learning activities. Learning through play is something I’m passionate about and really enjoy! As a means to combat the postpartum blues I planned little activities with Macie Jane (our first born) and it’s grown from there. Not long after Sadie our little fella, Rutledge came along. Savoring these sweet little years is so important to me and I know it is to you too! I’d love to come beside you to encourage and inspire you with activities to teach and intentionally love on your littles. From an encouraging word to a printable play set and more Everyday Learn + PLAY is all about encouraging families and the time we share together!
Teaching little ones at home is no small task, particularly when you have multiple children. I want encourage all parents whether you stay at home with your children, work at home, or work out of the home we can easily invest in the education of each of our littles. Activities don’t have to be expensive or time consuming. My hope is for parents to see how simple it is to work together with their children and to feel confident in the investment they are making. I’d love to hear from you! Always feel free to connect with me through email hello@everydaylearnandplay.com
Thank you so much for creating these wonderful resources, Carla. My girls and I truly love them. I only wish I would have done it sooner.
