Description
This journal is meant to be printed and bound at the top to make a notebook style journal. After printing cut the pages in ½ so that each individual page should be a half sheet.
To use the notebook:
Either read to the them or have your child/student read the sentence starter. Then have them complete it with their own thoughts and ideas. Be sure to encourage good handwriting, correct capitalization, and punctuation. The open space at the top of the page is for an illustration. Some children may enjoy drawing/coloring their ideas before putting them into words- this is an excellent strategy and should be encouraged although not all children will want or need to draw/color before writing.
