50 Chore Ideas for your Kids!

50 Chore Ideas for your Kids!

It's back to school season and part of that is thinking through the rhythms and routines that will serve your family well once things get rolling. Balancing your home and homeschooling is no small task. Coming up with a plan to work together as a family TEAM to care for your home is a great way to keep your home, develop character, and reinforce the idea that your family is a team working together.

This afternoon I created a simple handwritten chore chart for us to use. I added fun with colorful markers and zig-zag lines but truly, it's nothing special. The value comes when it's chore time and everyone knows exactly what's expected of them. I dropped ours in a dry erase pocket with a dry erase marker and we're good to go!

The best part is, if we start this chart and it doesn't suit, we can always pivot and I can quickly update it.

Want to make your own chore chart? I created a resource for you with 50 ideas. Sometimes that brainstorming ideas part is the hardest step! Click the button below to download the file!
