Little Quiet Time Notebook

Little Quiet Time Notebook

As we homeschool we have the wonderful opportunity to teach so many different concepts, subjects, and skills. Above all, encouraging our crew in the Word is most important to us. As they've gotten older we wanted to take a step toward building their independence in a quiet time. We read and study together but making sure their faith is personal is big. Our older two use the Write the Word for Kids journals from Cultivate What Matters. At times the passages to write out are fairly long. It can be a bit of a challenge to them especially at this early stage of cultivating a quiet time. As wonderful as they are, I know I need to create something different for our youngest.
I modeled the Little Quiet Time notebook after the idea of copy work and the cultivate journals. Each page has a passage to copy but that's where the similarities end. The Little Quiet time notebook also includes a loosely connected image to color and handwriting lines for learners to practice good writing skills.
Additionally, the passage is already written out in the notebook for your learner to simply look up and copy. I definitely suggest and encourage you to look up the passage in scripture to show your learner where the verse comes from. Having the passage already written out helps avoid needing to transfer. These little journals are a great stepping stone to creating an independent quiet time.
I thought it would be fun to celebrate this new resource with a small giveaway! I would love to send a physical copy of the Little Quiet Time Notebook AND a study for you, mama! I really like the resources from Well Watered Women and snagged an extra copy of the Colossians study to share with you!
Entering the giveaway is SO easy! Just comment on this blogpost with your favorite book to study! I'll pick a winner and connect with you to get the books in the mail. The giveaway runs until Saturday, July 20, 2024. I'm excited to get to share these with you!
