PLOT Notebooking Tags

The reader’s journey moves from word calling and fluency building to developing comprehension. Using picture books to learn about plot just makes sense. You can read the whole story in one sitting and you’ll be able to observe all the elements of a story’s plot!  We like to use the SWBSA strategy to think about and retell a story!

Somebody = (main) characters

Wanted = goal or aim of character

But = problem

So = solution to problem

And = story ending or lesson learned
